Terms of Service

Welcome to Giggs ("Platform"), operated by Giggs Pte. Ltd. ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our Platform at [www.giggs.sg] or our mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Giggs website, mobile application, and all related services.
• "User" refers to any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including Event Organisers and SideGiggs.
• "Event Organiser" refers to businesses or individuals who post shifts and events on the Platform.
• "SideGigg" refers to individuals who browse, apply for, and perform work through the Platform.
• "GiggPassport" refers to the portable work history and reputation profile maintained for each SideGigg on the Platform.
• "Shift" refers to an individual work assignment posted by an Event Organiser.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Platform. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. Users under 18 may be subject to additional restrictions as required by applicable law.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to access Platform features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Platform Services

Giggs operates as a workforce infrastructure platform that connects Event Organisers with SideGiggs for event and brand activation work. The Platform provides shift posting, worker applications, scheduling, and the GiggPassport reputation system.

Giggs is not an employer. We do not employ SideGiggs. The relationship between Event Organisers and SideGiggs is between those parties. Giggs facilitates the connection but does not control, direct, or supervise the work performed.

5. GiggPassport

Each SideGigg's GiggPassport is maintained by the Platform and reflects verified work history, ratings, and credentials accumulated through Platform usage. GiggPassport data is owned by the Platform but is portable — SideGiggs may request an export of their GiggPassport data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

6. User Obligations

All Users agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Use the Platform only for lawful purposes
• Not misrepresent identity, qualifications, or work history
• Not circumvent or manipulate Platform systems, ratings, or matching
• Not solicit Users outside the Platform to avoid Platform fees
• Comply with all applicable Singapore laws and regulations

Event Organisers additionally agree to:

• Provide accurate shift descriptions, requirements, and compensation details
• Pay SideGiggs promptly in accordance with agreed terms
• Maintain a safe working environment

SideGiggs additionally agree to:

• Only apply for shifts they can reasonably fulfil
• Show up on time and perform duties as described
• Communicate cancellations as early as possible through the Platform

7. Fees & Payment

Giggs charges a platform fee for its services. Current fee structures are communicated within the Platform. We reserve the right to modify fees with reasonable notice. Event Organisers are responsible for paying SideGiggs directly for work performed. Giggs does not hold or process worker wages on behalf of Event Organisers.

8. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellation and no-show policies are communicated within the Platform. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in negative GiggPassport impact, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from the Platform.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Platform are the property of Giggs Pte. Ltd. or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Giggs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Giggs in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Giggs does not guarantee the availability, quality, or reliability of any Event Organiser or SideGigg. Users engage with each other at their own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Giggs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other Users or the Platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
